Through the contributions & volunteer efforts of our associates the John L. Scott Foundation helps sponsor events that raise millions for children’s healthcare facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest. Locally the we sponsor and volunteer at events for the St. Luke’s Children’s hospital.

  •  Kid For a Night helps raise more than $450,000 yearly to Benefit St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.
  • St. Luke's Miracle Bears are donated and delivered to sick children at hospital.
  • John L. Scott Sponsors and volunteers at St. Luke's Scramble for the Kids to Benefit St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.

In addition, we also coordinate Toy Drives for the Wish List for the kids at St. Luke’s and we held a fundraising event the John L. Scott Boise Food Truck Rally with proceeds benefiting St. Luke’s Children’s.

We were honored to be awarded the 2019 Red Wagon Award, given to an individual or group that goes above and beyond to support St. Luke's Children's & the advisory board. The recipient shows enthusiasm and passion for helping the kids we serve and inspires other so support our vision to improve health and well-being of children." The Red Wagon is used at St. Luke's Children's to transport pediatric patients around the unit. They are a integral part of care that the kids receive during their stay at St. Luke's Children's.

We have collected several thousand pounds of food for the Idaho Food bank at our yearly John L. Scott Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl.

Proudly sponsored Wine Women and Shoes benefitting the Idaho Youth Ranch who provide accessible programs and services that nurture hope, healing and resilience in our children.

Donated land to build the St. Jude Dream Home along with volunteering, and sponsoring golf tournaments to benefit the Children at St. Jude.

Paint the Town - Neighborhood Works collected donations for their Buy a Bucket Program, & painted homes for Senior Neighbors in need. ***Best in Show Award winner ***

Rake Up Boise - Neighborhood Works Our team pitched in to do yard work and fall cleanup for hundreds of senior and disabled neighbors in Boise.

Decorating trees for the Festival of Trees to benefit of the St. Alphonsus Rehabilitation Center.

Collected Toys for Tots a national charity program organized by the Marine Corp Reserves to provide happiness and hope to less fortunate children by distributing toys, books, and other gifts for the holidays.

We invited Santa’s Reindeer out to our Heron River Community to help us collected donations for Giraffe Laugh Learning Center.

Collection of Warm Clothing and Blankets to help out those in need at the Corpus Christi House, Women’s and Children’s Alliance, and the Boise Homeless

Proud Sponsor of the BRR Giveback Golf Tournament raising money for local non-profits which include CATCH, Education Foundation of West Ada School District, Jesse Tree, and Life’s Kitchen.
